Description

Vintage 4-string bass guitar BALDWIN (BURNS)

This is a BURNS rebadged BALDWIN following BALDWIN’s takeover of the BURNS firm.

Made in the UK in 1966.

A mix between a Jazz Bass and a Precision Bass, the “varitone” allows a wide range of different sounds.

Solidbody in beautiful solid flamed maple.

with its original case.

The Bridge’s Jazzbass capo is not original and is attached by scratch. It is removable.
The central pickup cover is not original.
The tuning machines comes from another Burns bass of the same period.

Neck perfectly straight, frets in good condition, low action, set.

Nut width: 45mm
String length: 810mm

Some wear and minor dents, but in (very) good condition considering its age.
