One of the very first HOFNER semi-Hollow bass guitar
Manufactured in 1958 (date on the back of the table), with a pickup , volume/tone, distributed by SELMER in the United Kingdom.
Particularly rare , most of Hofner bass are later 60s
high quality bass for professionals, sunburst finish.
It is perfectly adjusted, very beautiful warm sound, no work to do on it.
The mechanics, very precise as well and the pickguard are not original. The bridge is a newer Hofner bridge identical to the original, 1 original volume knob supplied, the 2 knobs have been replaced.
the electronics, perfectly functional, are as they were originally.
Straight neck, low action.
Some traces of wear, but in (very) good condition considering its age.
