Description
Antic high-end CID guitar
Made in Germany in the 1930s, probably in Schonbach/Egerland, a center of German lutheri making before the 1950s
Rare guitar entirely in solid wood:
Spruce top
Maple back and sides
mechanical engraved in brass, heads in ivory
“Cid” logo in mother-of-pearl
Black tinted handle and romantic guitar-style “triangle” heel
Warm, ample sound, very beautiful harmonics.
The guitar can be strung with folk or nylon strings – currently nylon strings.
With a used vintage checkered cover.
The guitar has some marks and slight dings, ribs sticking out in one place, but is in (very) good condition considering its age. The neck is straight, does not move, the frets are in good condition.
The mechanics of low E are reversed (in the usual sense, the mechanics jump).
A replacement screw was changed for the high E action.
Nut width: 48mm
Body width: 355mm
