This model with one pickup, the KG-1 date from the end of the 60s (production between 1967 and 1969)
The use of Masonite for the body was innovative , these guitars are still very light and have a unique tone and resonance. Necks are thin but very easy to play, and the overall build quality of these instruments still lives up to Gibson quality standards.
These very rare models are very popular with collectors.
The guitar, entirely original has some signs of bumps and wear, the pickguard has been glued in some corners, but remains in good condition given its age. The functional electronics have not been modified.
