Description
Excellent exact copy of the “Gibson EB-3” SG bass from the 70s (4 strings)
Made in CHUSHIN GAKKI (factories of the first Ibanez MIJ) in Japan, late 60s / early 70s
In solid Mahogany, two Gibson-type humbuckers,
Its warm, the instrument is very easy to adjust, straight neck, easy adjustment by trussrod, low action.
All original except for the bridge which is a rosewood violin bridge, adjustable in height by two screws
Some traces of wear and small knocks, one end of the pickguard has been cut (we had previously put a third microphone there), but in good general condition given its age.
A rare, collector’s item and professional instrument (vintage basses are particularly difficult to find), witness to the Japanese know-how of the time
